A Swarm!

A swarm at an unusual time, 3 days after an inspection and split! Settled on branches overhanging a burn. Just when I was organising materials for capture, a heavy haily thunderstorm fell. After the the storm was over, no swarm, not a single bee left. Very odd. Can only presume the heavy downpour dislodged the cluster which fell into the burn below and got swept away. Gutted, absolutely gutted.
