4 June 2021 - Routine Inspection

Temperature about 18°C overcast. Langstroth Hive 1 - A slight increase in colony size. Langstroth Hive 2 - New queen spotted and has started laying. Hive very active. Hive given about 3 litres sugar syrup again. Langstroth Hive 3 - Brood split as numerous queen cells all sealed spotted. Two frames with queen cells and brood transferred to Horizontal Hive 1. 3 litres sugarcsyrup hiven. Horizontal Hive 1 - Imported Carnelian queen not spotted, presumably killed?. Horizontal Hive 2 - Old queen spotted and has started laying.
