New 'Nucs' Arrive

Nucs in Langstroth arrived today from Beckey's Beezzz. Looked and sounded healthy. Placed the boxes where the hives will be sited. Apprehensive as I was not sure if these would be susceptible to robbing by the bees from other two existing hives. The day ended with no sign of that, not saying it did not happen. Hived the nucs in the evening and fed with sugar syrup. Bees again looked and sounded healthy. Very few dead bees observed considering the overnight journey from England. Will inspect early next week to see progress. Not checked for presence of queens.
