Colony raised from a swarm. A good day for opening the hive and help the bees with some liquid feed (brood frame feeder). Last week's feed completely consumed. Plenty of foragers flying laden with pollen. Very angry girls! Also left a 2kg sugar bag (solid) for the bees.
Will phone the bee inspector tomorrow morning regarding the other colony that has gone AWOL.
