14 May 2020 Inspection - Weather warm and partly cloudy. Temperature about 13°C. National Hive 1 - Colony very, very weak, dwindling and hardly expanding. Queen sighted but presumably not laying. Marked 'Green'. Protein Patties hardly consumed. National Hive 2 - Colony very calm and expanding. Queen not sighted and laying prolificly. Protein Patties taken up well. Langstroth Hive 1 - Colony very calm and not expanding much. Queen sighted and marked 'Green'. Protein Patties not well taken. Langstroth Hive 2 - Colony very calm and expanding prolificly. Queen sighted and laying. Protein Patties all taken up. Queen cup sighted and destroyed. Increase in drone brood and hatched drones.
