Weather warm and partially sunny. Temperature about 16°C. National Hive 1 - Queen not spotted. Healthy brood observed but no eggs or fresh brood. Presence of drones and drone brood. Observed three sealed queen cells in two frames and left in-situ. National Hive 2 - A quick exam of the nuc, very active no sign of new queen. No eggs/new brood observed. Liquid feed from previous week all taken up. Langstroth Hive 1 - Queen not spotted. Healthy brood observed. Plenty of food stores. No queen cup/cells. Langstroth Hive 2 - Queen spotted. Healthy brood observed. Plenty of food stores. No queen cup/cells. Langstroth Hive 3 - Queen spotted. Healthy brood observed. Ample food stores. No cup/queen cells. Loads of drones. National Hive 3 - Nuc not examined.
