Unceremoniously shook the swarm but missed thd box (with some bees floating downstream). Some minutes later bees clustered again but this managed to catch a few bees in the box. Places box on sheet supported on a tree trunk lying across the burn. Returned about half an hour later to find bees having been lured into the box. Some hours later on the evening closed the box and transferred the bees into National Hive 5 (using the Newspaper Method of combining colonies. Will check this in two or three days time. Enough sugar syrup in the hives.
