Feeding Time

The weather has been wet, wet, and wet continuously for the last few days. I had to make sure that the 'swarm' bees had enough food. Prepared and despatched 4 litres of sugar syrup. Syrup given on Monday all used. Removed comb with honey and pollen built in brood void (no frames). Placed empty frames in brood box and a frame feeder with syrup. Placed queen excluder and a super with frames with foundation. Poured syrup also in cover (crown) board. Holds about 2 or so litres.
