Another Inspection

Very cold outside but sunny. Checked the hives for any activity as well as food stores. The hive from a 'nuc' observed to be active and reactive to any disturbance of the hive. Food stores still adequate. As for the hive raised from a swarm things appeared very quiet. Honey stores still very apparent. Tried to listen for any 'buzz' but could not hear a thing, partly due to nearby road traffic noise. Looking forward to a warmer day when I can witness flying in and out of the hives.
