2 May 2020 Inspection - Weather warm and sunny. Temperature about 16°C. National Hive 1 - Colony very weak, dwindling and hardly expanding. Queen sighted but presumably not laying. Brood reduced to one Jumbo box. Protein Patties hardly consumed. National Hive 2 - Colony very calm and expanding. Queen sighted and laying. Protein Patties almost all taken. Langstroth Hive 1 - Colony very calm and not not expanding. Queen sighted. Protein Patties not well taken. Langstroth Hive 2 - Colony very calm and expanding rapidly. Queen sighted and laying. Protein Patties well taken up.
