A warm afternoon on return from Zimbabwe. Langstroth 1. New brood or eggs identified. New queen must be laying. Langstroth Hive 3 - No queen observed but laying since there was new brood observed. National Hive 4 - Very active and busy. Queen profusely laying. Bees storing nectar in the deep super. A new shallow super of foundation and drawn comb added. National Hive 5 - Queen not observed but laying. Brood and eggs observed. National Hive 6 - No queen, no fresh brood or eggs.
