Lovely warm morning for an inspection. Langstroth Hive 1 - Colony expanding nicely. Brood in both boxes. Queen spotted. National Hive 4 - Colony steadily expanding. Queen not spotted. Food stores adequate. National Hive 6- Colony expanding well. Queen not spotted but plenty of brood and larvae observed. So few queen cups observed and destroyed. A capped Queen cell that did not look right destroyed (looked shrivelled as if rotten). Queen not spotted. Few drones and drone cells.
