A very warm evening. Hive 1 - No sign of eggs or brood. Either no queen or virgin queen not yet started laying if already mated. One frame of capped honey removed. Hive 2 - No sign of eggs or brood. Either no queen or virgin queen not yet started laying if already mated. Placed brood frame from Hive 3 with queen cell to see what would happen. Removed one super full of capped honey. Hive 3 - Queen laying nicely. Few queen cells and cups observed, destroyed during inspection. Hive 4 - Queen laying nicely. Few queen cups destroyed during inspection. Hive 5 - Queen laying nicely. Few queen cups destroyed during inspection.
