Collected a 'nuc' from The Beeman in Corsock. Placed the box on top of an empty hive and left overnight. Transferred the contents of the 'nuc' box into the empty hive the following day. Queen observed to have survived the journey. Fed with sugar syrup 1:1 solution (1kg sugar to 1 pint water). Since then, have noticed that robbing was being undertakinbg by bumble bees. Doing my best to defend the new colony.
