I undertook an inspection of the hive this evening and discovered something that is concerning me (see attached photos). Some cells are filled with something dark/black of which I cannot make out what this stuff is.
Furthermore, there appears to be some bees that have a 'whitish' thorax making them very strange looking. I will seek professional advice as to what these could be.
The queen is still there and appears happy enough.
